Tonight I Can Write the Saddest Lines
The title is adapted from Pablo Neruda’s “Tonight I Can Write the Saddest Lines”(Click to read the poem), which is indeed a very sad peom of a lover.
Tonight I feel nothing but the unusual cold breeze wrapping me in this room of darkness. The spirit of sorrow and agony lies through my soul full of uncertainty. The gloomy memory of what had happened just a moon away caused me to feel nostalgia about the sad words I heard before. It was when Silent Sanctuary successfully sync into my old mobile phone and by the press of a tiny button, a lonely melody filled the atmosphere with these words:
Didn’t mean to take you for granted
Didn’t mean to show I don’t care
Didn’t mean to throw away this once in a lifetime of chance
Being with you
And I’ll drive for 2 hours
To bring Butterfingers
I don’t mind the distance
This kismet’s a dance…..
With this melancholic melody playing within me, I really can’t escape the hurt which I have caused myself. The moment is haunting me and I can’t help but to think that everything’s gonna be fine soon.
To end this nonsense elegiac blog post, the sorrowful persona will just going to leave a paradox. At this moment, a silent scream whispered by Steve lets me ask this:
Will you come back in a heartbeat?
Don’t be confused of what a great thing we could be…..
The words expressed by the author shows an artistic reality of expression.
